cb1000r, honda, motorbike review, motorcycle reviews -

I recently had a quick ride on the 2018 Honda CB1000r, so just a few initial impressions. Reading the news release and seeing the pics, even though I'm not a big Honda fan - I was intrigued. This thing looked impressive. I had to see it in the flesh, and I wasn't disappointed. This bike looks fantastic and is adorned with a stack of great details and high-quality materials. The Honda CB1000r is by far the most impressive Honda I've seen in the showroom for years. I'm in the process of expanding on this, so just a few key points and...

883, Harley Davidson, learner, Sportster, xl883 -

Is the Harley Sportster a good beginners bike? This is a question we get asked a lot and something I see all over the web.  I guess it's a favourite question because undoubtedly among the learner legal bikes the Harley Sportster looks pretty cool and 883ccs of capacity sounds like a lot of motor for the money. As a 'smaller' Harley, the Sportster has earned, somewhat unfairly, the reputation of girls bike or in some cases a 'starter Harley'. bike protection, f750gs, product review, rubbatech, tank pads -

Recently I had the opportunity to test the Rubbatech tank protector on my BMW 750GS. The new South African brand being sold globally via Rubbatech Europe based in the Netherlands. They've launched a range of protection pads for many brands of motorcycles including BMW. I noticed the brand being discussed with optimism on a number of forums, so we contacted Rubbatech and there were nice enough to send me a sample for this review. The problem with any aftermarket part is having it match your motorcycle and blend in to appear as close to OEM as possible. Most tanks pads...

bmw, boxer, motorcycle reviews, R1200R -

The new BMW R1200R liquid-cooled naked just added some pepper to the old recipe. This one has the looks and the performance.  The new BMW R1200R is loaded with so much tech, I'm wondering had the moon used so much? I'm glad to report that unlike past experiences with tech - this bucketload simple works, and it works brilliantly. A Rip-snorting power-plant that is smooth and grunty from the bottom end, and unlike ye-old boxer, this one rips to the redline. On paper, the figures may not be that impressive, but the power is everywhere, and I can't quite recall being on a bike...

BMW R Nine T review - The Love, the life and the betrayal... My diary of Nine T ownership. As I have done many times before I read a review or comment in bewilderment at the suggestion someone no longer wants the bike I'm currently infatuated with. How is that possible, I say to myself. As the old saying goes, "for every amazing bike out there you dream of, you will find someone who's sick of riding her". I spent months thinking about the BMW r nine t, more months looking at pictures, annoying dealerships with test rides and generally...
